Question:

I’m 18 years old and have been playing tennis for a few months now, and I practice almost every day. I used to be a 1 handicap golfer but I decided to switch to tennis. The question I have is about the forehand. When I watch Rafael Nadal and Andy Riddick, I notice something that is strange to me. What I notice is that when they had time to set up and hit a hard forehand, they were finishing with their racket next to their hip, instead of over their shoulder. I know that they use a western grip, but I still cant figure out why they do this. If you have any answer to why they do this, then please let me know. I have had this on my mind for a while.
Thanks you for your help,
Adam Kim
