So the talking ball machine – I chuckle every time I see it doing it. Because it’s fantastic... but the only thing it can’t do is call the ball out. Yeah, well it... well it tries to. It’s not perfect, but they’re limited on resources aren’t they? I think that it... You know you’re only producing only a few hundred of them a year if that. But I mean if it was a mass produced item, then it might work better. But you’re taking about sort of mega bucks aren’t you really if you want something very good? Well the prototype, in engineering, the prototype costs a fortune. It’s only when they can get it to mass production that it’s of true benefit. Yeah, well I think that... I mean... that sums it up for all products that aren’t standard for every player. I mean a tennis racket is mass produced and there’s a thousand different types and they’re all very high quality and very affordable, but with a tennis ball machine, you’re talking much lower volumes, so the price goes way up because they just producing a few hundred or a few thousand. |
